Coverage is currently available in Abuja, Lagos and Port Harcourt, and Ogun.

Airtel Nigeria launched its commercial 5G services on Monday, becoming the third company to do so in Nigeria after MTN and Mafab.

Customers can access the high-speed network using a 5G router or a range of 5G-compatible smartphones and tablets.

Coverage is currently available in Abuja, Lagos and Port Harcourt, and Ogun, but will be expanded to other locations in the future, the company said.

Upon activating a 5G device on the Airtel network, customers will receive a one-time data bonus of 10GB.
