BUA Foods Plc, a top food manufacturing company in Nigeria, has announced a significant expansion of its wheat flour milling capacity.
The company has signed an agreement with IMAS, a renowned Turkish manufacturer of flour milling equipment, to construct four wheat and flour milling factories. The new facilities will have a combined milling capacity of 3,200 tonnes per day.
The expansion is part of BUA Foods’ plan to enter new markets since its debut on the Nigerian Exchange (NGX). The new factories are expected to enhance the company’s manufacturing capabilities, allowing it to produce more high-quality products and address food challenges in Nigeria.
The agreement was formalized during a ceremony attended by top executives from both BUA Foods and IMAS. This event highlighted BUA Foods’ commitment to growth and its strategy to increase production capacities across all its business divisions.
