FCMB declares final dividend of N0.50 per share

First City Monument Bank (FCMB) announced a final dividend of 50 kobo for each ordinary share for the year ended December 31, 2023.

The dividend is subject to withholding tax and shareholder approval at the upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM).

Key Dates:

  • Qualification Date: May 13
  • Register Closure: May 14 – May 17
  • Payment Date (Electronic): May 24 (for e-registered shareholders)
  • AGM: May 24 at 10.00 AM (Balmoral Convention Centre, Federal Palace Hotel, Lagos)

Eligibility and Payment:

Shareholders whose names appear in the Register of Members as at the close of business on May 13, 2024, will be eligible for the dividend. Shareholders who have completed the e-dividend registration and mandated the Registrar to pay electronically will receive their dividends on May 24th.

Those who haven’t registered for e-dividends are encouraged to download the form from the Registrar’s website (https://cardinalstoneregistrars.com/) and submit it to the Registrar or their bank.

Unclaimed Dividends

Shareholders with unclaimed dividend warrants or share certificates are advised to complete the e-dividend registration or contact the Registrar, CardinalStone Registrars Limited.

All shareholders are invited to attend the Annual General Meeting on May 24th at the Balmoral Convention Centre, Federal Palace Hotel, Lagos.

FCMB Group Plc released its unaudited financial results for the first three months of 2024, revealing a pre-tax profit of N31.3 billion, 193% increase over last year.
