The Nigeria Labour Congress and the Trade Union Congress have suspended their planned nationwide strike scheduled for Tuesday.
The announcements came Monday evening Nigeria’s after last minute talks with the government, an agreement signed by both parties showed.
The unions held talks earlier Sunday when the government expanded a N25,000 six-month award to all categories of federal workers, not just junior staffers as earlier announced by President Bola Tinubu.
