Radisson Group announces three new hotels in Nigeria

The hotels add over 400 rooms to Radisson Hotel Group’s Nigerian portfolio comprising of 11 hotels in operation and under development.

Radisson Hotel Group says it has signed three new hotels in Nigeria.

The hotels, under construction, will add over 400 rooms to Radisson Hotel Group’s Nigerian portfolio of 11 hotels in operation and under development.

The company already operates five hotels in Lagos and neighbouring Ogun state but aims to have 15 hotels in Nigeria by 2025.

Two of the three new facilities are in Abuja, and one is in Lagos.

“These three signings have to date this year, increased our Nigerian pipeline by 50% with a rise from nearly 850 rooms to almost 1300 rooms. They are all under active construction as well, aligned with our African accelerated pipeline strategy which has kept us in the steady lead in terms of pipeline materializatio,” said Erwan Garnier, senior director, development, Africa at Radisson Hotel Group.

They facilities are:

  1. Radisson Collection Hotel & Conference Center, Abuja, a 249-room hotel situated in Maitama District, some 45 minutes’ drive from the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport.
  2. Radisson Blu Hotel, Abuja, located at the Central Business District of the capital. It has 104 rooms.
  3. Radisson RED, located at Victoria Island in Lagos, has 62 rooms and is scheduled to open in the last quarter of 2025.

The Radisson family of brands can be found around the world in more than 120 countries, with currently over 1,700 hotels in operation and under development.
